Get in Touch

I discovered my passion for translation whilst still in high school during my very first Latin lessons: I relished understanding the role of each word, analysing, interpreting and reworking the sentences, almost like solving a puzzle.

My love for reading, writing, and foreign languages and cultures all complemented each other perfectly in this regard. That made choosing a university simple, and in 2005 I started at Scuola Superiore di Lingue Moderne per Interpreti e Traduttori (SSLMIT) in Forlì (School of Interpreting and Translation, University of Bologna) full of enthusiasm and curiosity. This is where I met a lot of interesting people, including Alba and Serena, who shared my interests, and dialogues and discussions with them allowed me to improve and hone my skills even when not at university. This type of training has made me an attentive, flexible, and punctual translator.

Once we graduated, we all started to work in the translation industry, each of us specialising in different areas, but with some similarities. This is the reason why we’ve decided to work together: we all fully understand our abilities, potential, and characteristics, which allows us to play to our strengths. Serena is very skilled in the use of technologies and is able to come up with the most effective solutions that help us put information technology at the forefront of our work. But when I need a precise eye and impartial review of a translation, I send it to Alba who always perfects it by carefully tweaking it to achieve the highest quality. This is the added value of a good team.

My strong passion for the Italian language is directly beneficial at work: over the years I have cultivated this interest by venturing into creative writing and theatre writing workshops. I love also the world of gastronomy and oenology: you could easily bump into me at a wine tasting fair or a gourmet tasting at the weekend.
